Chevrolet May launch the Enjoy MPV on
May 9 according to a report from Oncars.
The American automaker had recently
updated its official website to include the
MPV and detailed the features that will be
available when it is launched.
The Chevrolet Enjoy was previewed during
the 2012 Indian Auto Expo and is basically
a RHD version of the Wuling CN-100 van
that has been developed by Sail (GM’s
Chinese partner) and Wuling Motors.
The Enjoy is an eight seater MPV and will
be powered by two sets of engines; the 1.3-
litre Multijet diesel that produces 77bhp
and 205Nm of torque. This is the same mill
that sits in the U-VA and the Sail. Chevrolet
will also offer the Enjoy with locally
assembled a 1.4-litre petrol engine that
produces 77bhp and 187Nm of torque.
Power will be transmitted to the rear
wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox
across both variants.
The Chevorlet Enjoy will compete with
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Mahindra Xylo
and is expected to be priced in the range of
Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 8.5 lakh for the top-end
diesel variant.
